MANTACHIE – Gary L. Dill, 59, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at his home. He was born March 19, 1954, to Windfield and Bessie Slay Dill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family, working on cars, and working in his garden.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Burrows officiating. Burial will be in Mantachie Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley A. Dill of Mantachie; son, Perryn (Deanna) Dill of Mantachie; son, Terry (Vickie) Dill of Mantachie; grandson, Anthony Dill of Mantachie; grandson, Hunter Dill of Mantachie; grandson, Austin Dill of Mantachie; grandson, Zachary Dill of Mantachie; granddaughter, Whitney Dill of Mantachie; brother, Steve (Virginia) Dill of Mantachie; several nieces and nephews; and three honorary grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Dill; father, Winfield Dill; brother, Marvel "Jaybird" Dill; half sister, Univee House; half sister, Mildred Belle; half sister, Mattie Rollins; and half brother, Marvin Dill.
Pallbearers will be Collin Jones, Billy Stephens, Alan "Booboo" Todd, David Summers, Jeffery McDonald, and Bobby Dill.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Edith "Ethel" Putnam

Granddaughter of Daniel Houston and Mattie (Coleman)Dill
Edith “Ethel” Putnam, 82, formerly of Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning May 13, 2007 at her daughter's home in Tribes Hill, NY.
Born in Esperance, NY on November 30, 1924 a daughter of Frank and Ellen Dill Robinson. She attended school in Esperance and later attended the former Fultonville High School in Fultonville, NY.
Mrs. Putnam was a homemaker most of her life. She did at one time work for the former Coleco Industries in Amsterdam for 20 years. Edith enjoyed nature and being outdoors. She also was an avid reader and just loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a mother to everyone.
Mrs. Putnam was of the Lutheran Faith and would attend St. Luke?s Lutheran Church in Amsterdam when possible.
She married Ralph G. Putnam in 1945, he passed away in 1971.
Survivor’s include two sons, William Putnam of Amsterdam and David Putnam of the Town of Florida, NY. One daughter, Carol Syzdek of Tribes Hill, NY. One sister, Helen Robinson of Amsterdam. Five grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Michael, Stash and April. Three great-grandchildren, Catlyn, Alinah and Noah. Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive. She was pre-deceased by two children, Andrew Putnam as an infant and Doris Hentnick in 1996 and two brothers, Harold Robinson who was Edith's twin and Henry Robinson.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday May 17, 2007 at 11:00A.M. at the Perth Cemetery, Town of Perth, NY with the Rev. John Califano presiding. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday May 16, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County S.P.C.A. State Highway 5S, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

Willie Dill

Funeral services for Willie Dill, who died January 26, 1954 in the Community Hospital were held on Jan. 27 at the Mantachie Methodist Church. Burial was in the new Mantachie Cemetery with Senter Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Dill was 55 and a native of Alabama. He had lived in the Dorsey Community for the past 23 years. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Sarah Dill; two sons, Jackson Dill and Willie Dill Jr., both of Blythe, Calif.; six brothers, Boley Dill, Judge Dill, Winfred Dill, Troy Dill and Boyd Dill, all of Dorsey, and Coy Dill of Tupelo; and one sister, Mrs. Allen Robinson of Experience, N.Y.

Boyd DIll
Son of Daniel Houston and Mattie (Coleman)Dill
Boyd Dill Sr., 81, died August 16, 1991 at the NMMC. He was a native of Lee County and a retired farmer. He lived in Itawamba County most of his life and was a member of the Fawn Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Services were Aug. 18 at the church with burial in the Mantachie Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Dill of Mantachie; three daughters, Patricia Hendrix and Betty Sue Hall, both of Mantachie, and Mary Lou Guin of Marietta; six sons, Dan Dill, Junior Dill, Roy Dill, Billy Dill and James Dill, all of Mantachie, and Johnny Dill of Red Bay, Ala.; 27 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Keyron ""Buddy Boy"" Dill, 80, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born November 18, 1934, to the late Judge Dill and the late Jessie Blakenship Dill in Mantachie. He enjoyed farming, walking, and spending time with his family and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Senter Funeral Home in Fulton with Bro. Ryan Napalo officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Senter Funeral Home.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda McDonald of Mantachie, Christine (Woodrow) Sellars of Mantachie, Diane Dill of Mantachie, Wanda (Jeff) Ashcraft of Mantachie, Betty (Berry) Huffman of Mantachie; son, Timmy Dill of Mantachie; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dill; parents; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; five brothers; and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Britt Sheffield, Kevin Ashcraft, Tim Sellars, Jeff McDonald, Buddy McDonald, Derek Roberts, Venison Sellars, Jody McDonald.

John Henry Dill, 55, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at his home. He was born June 29, 1944, in Itawamba County to Judd Dill and Jessie Blankenship Dill. He was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Center Star Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Mitchell officiating. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dill of Mooreville; two daughters, Ann Taylor and her husband, Billy, of Smithville, and Debbie Leach and her husband, Ricky, of Mantachie; two sons, Bobby Dill and his wife, Diane, of Fulton, and Danny Dill of Mooreville; one brother, Buddy Dill of Mantachie; one sister, Olene Yhosiki of Newport Richie, Fla.; three grandchildren, Joe Dill, Nathan Henry and Paige Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Eric Barnett, Timmy Dill, David Dunaway, Greg Sheffield, Ricky Leach, Tracy Rogers, Ricky Dill and Gary Dill.

Roy Dill, 74, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
He was born September 16, 1936, in Itawamba County to Boyd and Mary Ann Knox Dill.
He was a Baptist and a Farmer.
He enjoyed working in the yard and talking to anyone who would listen.
He was a Proud Member of the 1956 Basketball Grand Slam Champs along with his Twin Brother, Troy.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Perry officiating.
Burial will be in Fawn Grove Cemetery.
Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his Wife, Melanie Dill of Mantachie; one Daughter, Brittney Dill of Mantachie; one Son, Corey Dill and Wife, Nikki, of Mantachie; three Sisters, Betty Hall and Husband, Arlis, of Mantachie; Mary Lou Guin and Husband, Mack, of the Ozark Community; and Pat Hendrix of Fulton; four Sisters In Law, Willa Dean Dill, Charlene Dill, Ernie Mae Dill and Annette Reed; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; six Brothers, Troy, Billy, Junior, Johnny, James and Dan Dill; and his Step Mother.
Pallbearers will be Brian Raper, Chris Foster, Robert Graham, Jonathan Tullier, Jerry Pharr, Jared White, David Inghram and Justin White.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until Service time Thursday.

Mattie Louise Rollins, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1930, to the late Winfield and Georgia Fennell Dill. She was a member of Ozark Methodist Church and a factory worker for many years. She was a homemaker. An avid flower and vegetable gardener, she also enjoyed crocheting.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ozark Methodist Church with Bro. Jason Franklin, Bro. Carl Dunlap and Bro. Jim Irwin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Ellie Hue Rollins of Marietta; one son, Ronny Rollins and his wife, Brenda, of Marietta; two half brothers, Gary Dill and Steve Dill, both of Mantachie; three grandchildren, Crystal Gray, Kelly Loague and Rodney Rollins; two great-grandchildren, Alex Gray and Morgan Gray.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunive House and Mildred Bell; two brothers, Marvin Dill and Marvel "Jaybird" Dill; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Randy Rollins, Perryn Dill, Terry Dill, Donnie Bell, David Bell, Mike Black and Jeff Dill.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. to service time today at the church.
